Community Invited to Superintendent Search Question and Answer Forums on February 10, 16

After a nationwide search for a new superintendent, the Proviso Township High Schools District 209 Board of Education has narrowed the pool of excellent candidates to two finalists.

At this step in the process, the Board would like to again reach out to the community and introduce the two finalists to the constituents. One of the finalists will tour the three district high schools on the afternoon of February 10 and the other on the afternoon of February 16.

On both days, the Board of Education invites the community to meet the candidate at a “question and answer” forum scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Social Room at Proviso East High School.

While it is the responsibility of the Board to choose the superintendent, it is very important that the new superintendent be a positive addition to the entire Proviso community.

Thank you for your interest.
